Yesterday I talked about Paul and Silas singing in prison after they had been jailed by Romans.
They were beaten up and imprisoned by Romans, then they sang praises to God. Impressed by their faith and fortitude, the good Lord responded with an earthquake that shook the prison.
And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were open, and everyone’s bands were loosed. (Acts 16: 26)
Many people don’t sing praises to God even on their good days. Paul and Silas’ faith is what got them thrown in jail to begin with. But that didn’t knock these two off of their game.
The picture and poetry I’ve posted today cover this part of the Paul and Silas story. But here’s a little information about the pictures I post for upcoming books. BibleRhymes two different type of ebooks to go along with its hardcover books. The interactive ebooks have roll-over action that brings changes or movement to many illustrations.
Don’t let that stop you from enjoying the illustrations I keep posting though (even though many are rough-drafts)!
Now I’m going to get this posted and get back to work on these pictures. The Paul and Silas book will be finished by the end of this coming weekend for sure!
*Update – the Paul and Silas book is indeed ready to read!
