At night I sit and think of ways,
To brighten up some people’s days.
Will it work? I never know.
I think I can. So here it goes …
When these words float before your eyes,
Like clouds that decorate the skies,
There’s no disguising what I’d like –
A smile that traps your face.
I’d like a smile you can’t replace;
A smile that won’t unglue,
A smile that other people see
And then they wear it too.
So close your eyes for just a breath.
Think smile. Then let it form.
Wear that smile all day long
So smiles are just the norm.
I Think I Can
We don’t always know without a doubt that we can do something in particular. We have to take risks sometimes and try anyways.
“I think I can,” can be said with confidence. And when we have confidence, and use our minds and capabilities at their maximum potential, beautiful things can happen.
And we know all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. (Romans 8: 28)
I can do all things through Christ which strengthen me. (Philippians 4: 13)
