People have choices and options are great,
So are decisions before they’re too late.
Some people wait, their chances pass by,
Under their nose and in front of their eyes.
My how the shame can elicit a pout;
If you were just looking and caught striking out.
“About to” won’t fly, won’t cut it at all.
Excuses don’t help; don’t soften the fall.
Whatever it’s called, delay is a waste.
You look at dessert but don’t get a taste.
No matter the case, here’s what to do:
Make a decision and then follow through.
The choice is for you and here is a guide:
More will be lost if you’re late to decide.
As long as you’ve tried, if you have picked wrong
All will be fine … your life moves along.
If you’re not strong – don’t know how to choose;
Wondering “If” might give you the blues.
Do Not Delay
“More is lost by indecision than wrong decision. Indecision is the thief of opportunity. It will steal you blind.” – Roman philosopher Cicero
