Book Reading: What to Wear
I have been able to visit many different schools, from public to private, Catholic to Lutheran, for book readings. The kids and the teachers have always been great. I’ve eaten with faculty. I’ve had lunch with the children. I’ve been invited to play football. And I’ve learned that nice suits aren’t the best attire for book reading events since a lot of kids like jumping on me.
Sweaters don’t work much better. I’m pretty sure the kids would prefer if I wore t-shirts or sweatshirts. But I digress. Check out the video below for my book reading of the BibleRhymes’ Creation story at North Hills Child Care.
The illustration below was air-brushed and hand-painted on canvas by Antonella Chirco for the first edition of BibleRhymes’ Creation.
Just think for a moment what kind of extraordinary power it would take to create a planet. Expand that to the design and creation of our whole universe (or what we know of it). Our God is mighty.
Click the link for a version of BibleRhymes’ Creation that I illustrated (with many traces of Antonella). And get into a little bit of your own book reading (or help a kid get into theirs).
Book demos are available too!
BibleRhymes’ Creation is available in hardcover HERE.
