In the illustration, Jesus is preaching from a boat. Why did he preach from a boat? So many people wanted to be near him, and be touched by him physically and spiritually, a large crowd had grown on land. One might opine that Jesus used the boat as a platform or stage that a modern day pastor may use, so he could more effectively project his message to the gathering masses.
These are rough-draft illustrations of Jesus preaching from a boat in the Galilee Sea that went into the development of the BibleRhymes’ Galilee Storm children’s book.
