I imagine when most people picture an apostle, they don’t picture them causing trouble. I wouldn’t say Apostle Paul caused me trouble, but the pictures in his story made me draw more than a few drafts.
Causing Trouble – What?!
I would like to think that helping and teaching people wouldn’t be considered causing trouble. It all depends on perspective, I suppose.
Costing someone money was a dangerous proposition in Biblical days, just as it can be now. Apostle Paul and his companion Silas learned that lesson.
The picture above is one of my rough-drafts that was further updated to be a part of the BibleRhymes’ Paul and Silas children’s book.

And a vision appeared to Paul in the night; there stood a man of Macedonia, and prayed him, saying, Come over into Macedonia, and help us. (10) And after he had seen the vision, immediately we endeavoured to go into Macedonia, assuredly gathering that the Lord had called us for to preach the gospel unto them. (Acts 16: 9-10)
