The book-picture galleries do not show every picture in every book. They definitely do show enough to give you an idea of each book and different styles by our different illustrators.

Don Cassity, of Rugrats and Marvel Comics fame, illustrated BibleRhymes’ Zacchaeus. Plus, I owe him a phone call, and he owes me a book. So expect another one coming from him before long.

I actually would’ve called him by now, except for that I’ve been busy learning how to build this new site. I haven’t liked the BibleRhymes website for a few years now and haven’t found the right team to accomplish the mission of building the right one for me. I decided to learn about website development myself (as I’ve done with illustrations and animations since BibleRhymes began).

And here’s a secret or few… working with Don Cassity and seeing his art is what finally got me to take a shot at drawing. I’d always thought it’d be fun to be able to draw. I just never thought I’d be able to.

I never thought that I’d animate either. Well I learned both of those things and will keep improving. This website will keep improving too. Looking at code always bothered me before. Now website design is grabbing my interest. I’ll properly thank them in other forums but Yoast and others are a blessing to the world! I don’t want you leaving BibleRhymes right now, but if you Google Yoast and some of the following keywords you’ll find a terrific resource if you care about open-source, WordPress website-design (those are the keywords). And you can ask me about it.

Last, but most assuredly not least, Antonella Chirco illustrated a version of Noah and the Ark, the Christmas Story and Creation for BibleRhymes that are all available as hardcover books. Buy them. Share them. The quality is high enough that they’ll withstand twenty years worth of reading (or much more I would guess).

Antonella’s versions of Noah and Christmas were also turned into interactive online books (click the links if you don’t know to already).

I’m Ken McCardell. I’m the founder of BibleRhymes. Now I’m the lead illustrator, poet, website developer and… well, whatever needs doing, I’m the one to blame if it’s not done well.  I’ll have other places on the site for you to find out about me. Here’s the real deal though; this world needs more love. I’m here to give every bit I can.

If every kid grows up learning the Bible the way I did, they’ll give every bit they can too. So I wanted to give kids a fun way to learn about the Bible. And that’s the abridged story behind BibleRhymes. Let me be clear though, these stories aren’t only for kids. Just check out the pictures, listen to the music in our online stories, read the poetry, and tell me if I’m wrong! These books are for people of all ages.

Curious about anything? Just ask. Or “friend” me, “add” me or “like” me, however it works for you…
